Now that the new Mortal Kombat movie is out, Rhode Island-based video game cover band Lame Genie decided to pay homage to the franchise by releasing a techno rock cover of the beloved 1994 theme song. But there’s one thing that makes the cover even better than the original: the delicate voice of Gilbert Gottfried. Watch below!
