As you may or may not know, Gene Roddenberry’s birthday was on August 19, so to pay homage to the man, Robert Picardo (The Doctor in Star Trek: Voyager) decided to sing the original Star Trek theme. Yes, the theme actually had lyrics, but fortunately (as you’ll hear,) they were never included in the show.
