Today’s entry is by far the most ambitious, from starwarsuncut.com. It’s a crowdsourced remake in which web users each claimed a 15 second section of the movie and reshot it using whatever facilities they had available. The clips were then stitched back together to make the full-length movie, as well as this trailer:

Artfully Visualizing our Humanity [VIDEO]
Artist Aaron Koblin takes vast amounts of data — and at times vast numbers of people — and weaves them into stunning visualizations. From elegant lines tracing airline flights to landscapes of cell phone data, from a Johnny Cash video assembled from crowd-sourced drawings to the “Wilderness Downtown” video that customizes for the user, his works brilliantly explore how modern technology can make us more human.

Most of us ignore or block these, because clearly someone called SexxiGurl087421 is a bot, right? Not Clive Thompson. Unfortunately, the remainder of the footage where the dude wrecks his whole house in rage wasn’t caught on tape.

WANT: Space Invader Foam Chairs
Why isn’t there anybody online selling those awesome space invader concept chairs? I know my kids would totally freak out if they’d find these waiting for them in their playroom.

If you’ve been following the Charlie Sheen intern contest, you know 74,000 people applied, including some pretty heavy hitters. Well, it’s now down to 50! Some YouTube Celebs got together and filmed the following PSA to help up one contestant’s chances. There’s no voting or anything. It’s really just a PSA to help spread the word. Final Minutes Of Last Harry Potter Film To Be Split Into Seven Separate Movies
Yep geeks, Warner Bros. is planning to take the last four minutes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and split it into seven separate films… or at least, that’s what the ONN wants you to believe! :)
Klingon for Dummies: Lesson #1 [VIDEO]
A rather enlightening video tutorial by the folks from Star Trek: Infinite Space showing two of the most basic words of the Klingon language: Qapla’ and nuqneH.
