Yes, I’ve just decided that this is a new genre: Swiss horror action gore fest.
Here is the movie resumed in a single sentence: Swiss mountain girl Heidi is abducted by brutal government troops and must defend herself and fight a war against a cheese-fueled machinery of hate.
Also, before watching the trailer, be warned: GORE! BLOOD! Lots of it!
With the new live-action version of The Little Mermaid currently being on the big screen, now is the time to revisit this classic Disney tale, not the much more bloody original version, unfortunately. Here is the latest episode of “How it Should have Ended”, which ends the tale in a much more logical way.

I’ve featured a lot of musical tesla coils videos on Geeks are Sexy in the past, dating back as far as 2009 when we filmed ArcAttack at Maker Faire, but this performance from Franzoli Electronics featuring 4 tesla coils performing the X-Files theme has to be the best I’ve heard so far. I just wish I could physically be there to hear it as the sound that comes out of these things is much more impressive when heard live.
The rain had died down earlier that morning, but Sarah still brought her cloak with her, to keep herself dry as she walked through the forest, water droplets sporadically falling from the trees. Also, it was September, and the temperature was just cold enough to give her a chill after a rainstorm. The chill that shuddered down her spine now, however, had nothing to do with the weather.
Last night, a resident in town had caught her outside the Lincolns’ home doing spellwork. For a time now, children had been snatched from their beds by a vampire in the night and, though Sarah knew keeping her abilities a secret was something on which her life depended, she couldn’t help herself. She didn’t have the strength to defeat a vampire, but she could protect those children. And so, she had tried.
