Engineer Mark Rober recently tested the intelligence of his pet octopus, Sashimi, by creating a challenging 9-part underwater obstacle course. The goal was to ensure Sashimi could hunt for food in the wild after being hand-fed for most of her life. The maze, designed to mimic natural conditions, showcased Sashimi’s impressive problem-solving skills and adaptability, reinforcing the octopus’s reputation as a highly intelligent creature.
