Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is the highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed first-person shooter, Wolfenstein: The New Order, revealed this weekend at E3 2017.
Microsoft has confirmed the oddly-titled X Box One X, a new version of the console bringing increased power but with a $499 price tag in the US.
The specs unveiled clearly show Microsoft is targeting the most hardcore gamer by not only matching the PS4 Pro’s 4K display, but having more RAM (12GB to 8) and a more powerful GPU (6 teraflops to 4.12.) Thereโs also support for 4K Blu-ray movie discs.
The new console debuts on November 7 with a worldwide launch. It will support all Xbox One titles along with the same range of backwards-compatibility Xbox 360 titles.
It will also be able to upscale Xbox One HD titles to a 4K display. Theyโll be indicated with a dedicated Xbox One X Enhanced logo and around 30 third-party titles are getting this support from launch.
Visually the X Box One X will be much the same as previous models, though slightly smaller, and available in black only at first. One big surprise is that it doesnโt appear thereโll be any virtual reality titles at launch.
International pricing is ยฃ449 in the UK, โฌ499 in Europe, $599 in Canada and $649 in Australia.

It seems that geek-focused conventions are popping up everywhere these days, but among those, very few seem to distinguish themselves from the crowd. It certainly was the case with “Geekulture Lanaudiรจre,” the first exeptional edition of an event that took place in Repentigny, Quebec last weekend.
For the first time, I brought my three kids with me at a con, and from the lightsaber fighting courses to the games of ZORB soccer, everyone had plenty of fun during the whole day. My friends from the Montreal X-Men were also there, raising funds for a suicide prevention organism, as well as the folks from the 501st, reknowned author Anne Robillard, and local television celebrity (and massive geek) Denis Talbot. And as I always do, I immortalized the event with few pictures from my trusty Lumix GX-1. Here they are for your viewing pleasure:
