Why HELLBLADE Is Only Gonna Cost $30

Since I first saw the above trailer for Hellblade by Ninja Theory, I have been foaming at the mouth to get my hands on it. Not only is it utterly gorgeous, but it looks like the story is going to deal with some dark psychological aspects and the action looks more intense as anything we’ve seen in some time.

But one thing struck us as strange. Why does a game that looks SO GOOD and looks SO POLISHED only going to cost $29.99. This raised some flags with gamers, but come to find out, it is just Ninja Theory being awesome.

Truth of the matter is, the game is simply six to eight hours long, and the developers didn’t want people feeling ripped off. Honestly, between how the game looks and how classy a move that is on Ninja Theory’s part, I will definitely be buying Hellblade in a few weeks when it drops!

10 Biggest Hoaxes That Fooled a Foolish World

Listen, if the world believed there was fairies at one point, I cannot even be mad. I mean, we all know better, but it’s fun to fantasize. Problem is, in some of the cases of these hoaxes listed here (like the aforementioned fairies), some people get sucked into believing a straight up lie, and a silly one at that.

And I was only kidding about the fairy thing. Fairies are made-up creatures of fiction, so in the case of some of these hoaxes, I am more worried about the people who believed them as opposed to the people who pulled them off.

Also, this video proves trolls have always existed, and I don’t mean the kind that live under bridges and eat goats.

6 Games That You’ll Never Play

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s56mjNZdcRk

There are few things that hurt a gamer as much as when some sick looking new game gets announced and we get all hyped for it over the years and then we get the news:

That game is never coming out.

There can be many reasons that games get canceled, but it makes the news no less upsetting. It is like the gaming equivalent of being stood up for a date. Though many do get cancelled, some seem to truly have had more potential than others, which makes their loss even worse. Here are 6 pretty unique and interesting games we will NEVER get to play (insert sad face here).

How cool does that Alien game look, btw? Damn! Guess we will never know.

Lyme disease is spreading. Blame ticks — and climate change [Science Video]

Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the US; and climate change is helping it to spread even more. Animals such as deer, mice, squirrels, other critters in wooded area can be hosts to the bacteria, Borrelia burgdorferi, that causes Lyme disease in humans. When ticks feed off these hosts, the ticks become infected with it. And the bacteria can then be transmitted to humans via tick bites. There are numerous ways to prevent tick bites, but the best protection is vigilance. Whether you’re going hiking, camping, or just a stroll in the woods, check for ticks that may have become attached. The sooner the tick is removed, the lesser your chances of being infected with Lyme disease.
