The Stargate Activates in New “Stargate: Origins” Trailer

I don’t know about you guys, but as a massive Stargate fan, this does not look promising AT ALL. I want to know what happened after the last Stargate Universe episode took place, not this! The show was starting to be good right before they cancelled it! Oh well, I guess we’ll never know!

In 1939, Professor Paul Langford and his daughter Catherine are still grappling with the mysteries of the ancient relic they discovered in the Egyptian desert more than ten years ago. With war looming in Europe and funding running out, these brilliant minds are approaching their lowest ebb. Little do they know, answers are about to present themselves in a dangerous form, when the Nazi Occultist Dr. Wilhelm Brücke approaches their facility with a sinister motive.

Enlisting the help of two young soldiers, Catherine must use all of her wit and nous as she and her new allies embark on an adventure into the unknown to rescue her father, and save the Earth from an unimaginable darkness.

LEXIP: The Most Accurate and Versatile GAMING Mouse Ever Created!

Its creators define the Lexip as the most accurate and versatile gaming mouse ever created, and after watching the demo (embedded below,) I have to say that they’re probably right. I’ve never been excited about a mouse before, but this would looks like it could be a major game changer for many gamers! The product has only been on kickstarter for a few days and it already tripled its initial funding goal with over 78,000 euros raised so far (ships worldwide!)

Lexip is the world’s first gaming mouse designed to be an all-in-one solution for your gaming needs across all types of games. It’s a high-performance gaming mouse which is intuitive, precise, and fast in all your favorite games. What makes our mouse extremely innovative is the fact that we have merged two joysticks into an already amazing high-performance gaming mouse. It Took 83 Engines to Get Apollo to the Moon

In this video, Amy Shira Teitel of Vintage Space talks about how many rockets it took to bring Apollo to the moon.

If you’re keeping track, that’s more than 83 engines and motors; you might have counted 87. There were actually 88 on the Saturn V, but five did nothing during an optimal mission. The four motors that powered the Launch Escape System were aided by a pitch motor that would direct the escaping Command Module safely away from the exploding rocket. Those never fired so I left them off my count.
