First Trailer for “Welcome to Yesterday” Released

Maybe I’ve been living under a rock, but I hadn’t even heard of this movie until I stumbled across the trailer on Monday. Trailer for Live-Action “Kiki’s Delivery Service” is Out Now!

Miyazaki himself gave his blessing to this live-action version of Kiki’s Delivery Service, a Studio Ghibli film from 1989. Oh — and it’s directed by Takashi Shimizu who also directed The Grudge series and Ju-On (the Japanese inspiration for the franchise). The film is slated for a March 1, 2014 release date in Japan.
