‘ The earthquake, tsunami, and ensuing nuclear crisis in Japan earlier this year have stretched the Japanese Red Cross to its limits; while donations are coming in all the time, it’s still important to maintain support for the organization as Japan recovers from these events. To help bolster contributions to the JRC, Cosplay for a […]
There’s a reason Black Milk Clothing is a go-to source for the geeky fashion-forward. Their R2D2 swimsuit is still makings its rounds on the Internets despite having been discontinued forever ago, and items like the Mountains of Mars printed leggings keep upping the awesomeness ante. This swimsuit isn’t yet available, but you can bet it’ll run […]
This is some of the best cosplay we’ve seen in a long, long time. Akuriko’s Zelda is spot-on, and the location shots? Crazy. Akuriko has beautifully cosplayed as Zelda from the legendary Nintendo series of games. A hardcore cosplayer, Akuriko has even cosplayed as Saria and Rainbow Brite. [gameranx via fashionablygeek]
California model and cosplayer LeeAnna Vamp recently did a photoshoot for IGN’s Babeology (click through for video, too), and was kind enough to share her photos with us. We’re pretty sure we haven’t seen a female Wookiee yet, so LeeAnna’s “Wookini” is definitely a change of pace. Thanks, LeeAnna!
From the product description: The TARDIS corset, in rough-out of the placement for the first panels. When finished, it’ll have lights, sounds, and a key. The phone door will be white, and will open. And yes, you ARE bigger on the inside. (Petrichor Perfume not included.) Thanks for sharing, Nic! [MayfaireMoon]

Deviantart user Silverstar42 made this awesome GLaDOS costume for Otakon 2011, and we think that it positively rocks. One extra pic right after the jump.
Otakon 2011 took place from July 29th to July 31st again this year, and as usual, thousands of costumed fans descended upon Baltimore to celebrate all things anime, manga, and Asian pop culture. As we did for SDCC 2011 (Click!), we searched flickr for some of the best CC-Licensed cosplay photography of the event and […]
