What happens when motion capture, 3D printing, and stop-motion animation collide? Pure magic! Corridor Digital’s latest experiment brings us an animated sequence where every single frame is 3D-printed. And the result? The thrilling tale of a miniature man on a mission to rescue his pup from a menacing Roomba!
Wren from Corridor donned motion capture gear to record his movements, which were then translated into thousands of individual 3D-printed parts. Each piece was then painstakingly assembled and photographed frame by frame to create a stop-motion masterpiece.
Was it worth the effort? Absolutely. Check it out!
