Shaq thought he was finally getting his shot at playing Superman—until James Gunn crushed his dreams on national TV.

In a new Shaq Superman TV Spot aired during NBA on TNT, Shaq sizes up the new suit, realizing it’s way too small. “Boots won’t fit, belt’s too thin—I sent them my sizes!” Enter David Corenswet, full Clark Kent mode, asking what Shaq’s up to. Shaq proudly says he’s meeting James Gunn about his Superman role… only for Gunn to introduce Corenswet as the Superman.

Shaq’s reaction? Devastation. Betrayal. A dramatic exit—though he does strike a flying pose on the way out. And when someone dares mention Charles Barkley? “F*** Barkley.”
