In a future where memories can be rewritten at will, Mina is trapped between the life she’s created and the grief she can’t escape. The revolutionary implant designed to filter out unwanted memories becomes her prison when a network glitch causes conflicting flashes of the past. Desperate for answers, Mina seeks help from Cole, a hacker with a hidden personal stake. Together, they must confront the buried resentment between them and the painful truth Mina’s been hiding: her daughter’s death. But when the implant’s security kicks in, it manifests Mina’s lost child, asking the unthinkable.
