Christmas might be over, but this project is too cool to wait until next year! Maker Sean Hodgins has crafted a tiny marble machine ornament that’s as mesmerizing as it is festive. This clever design features a conical track and a gear-drive elevator that carries miniature ball bearings to the top, all enclosed in a plastic sphere for easy hanging.

Nothing gets me more motivated like a tight deadline. I wasn’t going to miss this years holiday video, and this time around, I thought I would go back to the basics. This Marble Machine can be completely 3D printed, and with a few off the shelf parts, anyone and everyone can make one. I would love to see some of your designs!
