Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1940, Gambon, aged 82, left us after a bout of pneumonia. Sir Michael Gambon passed away peacefully in the company of his loving wife, Anne Miller, and his son, Fergus, by his side.
Gambon’s illustrious acting career spanned an impressive five decades, from 1962 to 2023. During this journey, he accumulated a plethora of credits, but it is his portrayal of Dumbledore, the wise headmaster of Hogwarts, that has left an indelible mark on the hearts of fans worldwide.
