In the late 1970s to the 1990s, visionary filmmaker George Lucas found himself in an unexpected role: that of a commercial pitchman for Japanese electronic brands Panasonic and Technics. These advertisements, on their own, were already a bit weird on their own, but when in the hands of editor Neil Cicierega, they achieved a level of awkwardness that has rarely been seen in the world of advertising.
