In Nicholas Wenger’s “The Kid,” a woman and a young boy flee through the streets of downtown Los Angeles, their pursuers close behind. Despite their obvious exhaustion and injuries, they are determined to protect a cargo that is both precious and perilous.

The only problem about this fantastic short film? I want more! I want to see a whole series featuring these two!
