As part of their yearly Treehouse of Horror Halloween compilation, The Simpsons will be presenting a tribute to Death Note, an acclaimed manga about a high school boy who discovers a magical notebook dropped by a demon. If the boy writes the name of a person in it, this person dies. In the case of this segment of Treehouse of Horror, the notebook falls in the hands of Lisa Simpson.
