So the other day, while my girlfriend and I were at Costco, we stumbled on a HUGE 4D model of an Imperial Star Destroyer, and from a distance, it looked almost identical to the iconic ship we first saw in the original Star Wars trilogy. Upon closer inspection, I realized the thing was entirely made from cardboard, and it was nothing short of glorious. I immediately jumped on the occasion and bought two, one for myself, and another one as a Christmas gift from a very special Star Wars geek in my life. After a few hours of work (with my 10-year-old,) this is what I ended up with:
Amazing, isn’t it? It’s also quite big at a little over 30 inches long! On the box, it says for 8 years old and over, but I don’t agree, unless the kid does it with his parents. For those interested in getting one, I’d also recommand you use some super glue during certain steps as the regular craft glue they provide does not always do the job, or at least, not quickly enough.
Here’s the official description:

This post has been sitting in my draft folder for a week, but a few days ago, I also purchased the AT-AT, AT-ST, and Snow Speeder set, but I barely started working on it, with only the Snow Speeder completed so far:
The verdict? Highly recommanded if you’re a Star Wars fan who likes to build things.
