Experience the Dread of the LOTR “Escape off the Road” Scene With This Lifelike Diorama Statue

Escape off the Road

One of the most memorable scenes from The Lord of the Rings is the one where a black-cowled wraith looms over Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin as they hide underneath the roots of a tree on the side of the road right after leaving The Shire. Now, you can re-experience the dread of the scene thanks to this amazing 1:6 scale masters collection 360 degree diorama statue from WETA! Only 500 of these are available, so if you are a collector and want one, you better act fast!

Introducing the next chapter in the Masters Collection, Escape off the Road is the next in the line of fine art Middle-earth statues! Hidden beneath the tree’s thick roots, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin wait as black-cowled wraith looms over them. With over 3,000 hours of work in one piece, senior sculptors Brigitte Wuest and Gary Hunt took the challenge of recreating the iconic moment with every tool at their disposal! The scene was filmed not far from WETA Workshop and they sculptors had access to the original props, costumes, and designs from the film. Measuring about 27 1/2-inches long x 18-inches tall x 15-inches deep, this statue is limited to 500 pieces and comes with closed box packaging.
