Are you always on the lookout for the next great geek show? Are you a collector or a fan of everything from video games to comic book? As of now, Amazon Prime has just started airing “Geek Me!“, a new interview show with all the pop culture you can handle.
Beloved geek personality, Jason Rockman, is out there with the most extraordinary of geeks and other crazed collectors. He will be paying these fandom heroes a visit to discover their extraordinary collections and see what it took to build their amazing lifelong trophy room.
In every episode, he travels in super geek-mobiles, driving a different vehicle to each of his stops in the greater Montreal area. He visits 3 super collectors per episodes, first taking a guided tour, then meeting with friends and family members to learn about what it’s like to live with a mad collector and his/her treasure trove. He also explores what building such a collection took, emotionally and financially.
From Star Wars, Transformers, Ghostbusters, all the way to Kiss and sports memorabilia, Jason gets to meet and sit down with these amazing collectors and professionals from the pop culture industry (because some people made a job out of their collecting habits.)
When it comes to enthusiasm, get-up-and-go, and passion for everything geek DNA-infused, Jason Rockman is tough to beat. Having been a professional musician for almost 25 years, he has sold over 120,000 records worldwide and has collaborated with rock ‘n roll hall of famers Darryl McDaniels (Run DMC) who participated in the creation of the blocked theme song for the intro of “Geek Me!”.
Want to learn more? The show originally saw light back in 2017 on Bell’s Fibe TV, but it is now available worldwide via the Amazon Prime streaming service. After further conversation with Jason, we now know that there is an interest for a second season. Let’s hope we get to see it made sooner than later.
