2020 marks the 35th anniversary of the legendary Nintendo Entertainment System. To celebrate such an iconic game console, and after teasing us about it yesterday, LEGO has officially revealed its’ Nintendo Entertainment System Building Kit.

The incredible set includes the classic NES, a plug-in controller and a classic tv set. You can even load your favorite game cartridge! You can also turn a lever and get Mario running through World 1-1! What a great way to celebrate!

Maarten Simons, creative lead on LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System, said they created the product to let many adults indulge in
the nostalgia of the NES’ most iconic game, and to allow them to share this retro passion with their children. I know I still play my original NES with my three kids.

The new set, that includes 2 646 pieces and an action brick compatible with Mario from the Super Mario Adventures Starter Course, should retail 299,99$.

The building kit should be available August 1st at LEGO.com .
