No power? The Lumir K is a cooking oil led lamp that can shine for a month with just 1L of cooking oil, anytime, anywhere! The lamp has a 10-year life span and can provide one hour of light (100x times brighter than a candle!) for 5ml of oil thanks to the electricity generated by thermal energy.

As I’m writing this, the Lumir K has raised over $8,500 USD, with a funding goal of just $10,000. The company behind the project has already successfully funded the Lumir C back in 2016, raising over $140,000 USD back then.
