I don’t know about you guys, but Avengers: Endgame made me cry my eyes out on a few occasions during the 3 hours it lasted. At one point in the movie, Tony Stark’s daughter, Morgan H. Stark, tells her father: “I love you 3000” as a reply to Tony’s “I love you tons.”
After Tony dies at the end of the film, a short farewell message is played to his friends and family, and in this message, he tells morgan “I love you 3000” back.
According to a few people on the Internet, 3000 isn’t just a random number. Nothing is random when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The number apparently refers to the total “airtime” in minutes of all MCU movies, including Spider-Man: Far from home. Here’s a chart about the length of each movie:
