I will admit, I am utterly obsessed with Resident Evil 7 and the little teaser trailers it has been dropping steadily over the last few weeks have been whetting my appetite even more. We are up to volume ten now, creepily titled Aunt Rhody, and though it offers little in terms of what the game has in store for us, it is the classic kind of creepy that fans of the original games will recall, while also having an all new feel to it as well (sort of like PT and Outlast).
As we inch closer and closer to Resident Evil 7’s impending release, what other little glimpses of horror will Capcom give us before the game drops in 2017? Guess we’ll just have to wait and see. But based on what we have seen so far, this is going to be one helluva scary game, and might just bring Resident Evil back to its title holder as best horror series in gaming.
In the meantime, check your attic for an Aunt Rhody of your own. You never know….
