The hamburger you see above was purchased for a friend 20 years ago by two teenagers in Adelaide, Australia. When the friend never showed up, they decided to keep it. And now, 20 years later, this is what the burger looks like. The thing is rock hard and there’s absolutely no mold on it. Yuck.

“We’re pretty sure it’s the oldest burger in the world. It started off as a joke, you know. We told our friend we would hold his burger for him but he never showed up, and before we knew it six months had passed.”
