You knew it was just a matter of time. Women have to carry the babies and give birth and take birth control, and us guys do little in the whole process. Truth is, we get to do the fun part, and all the awful parts get delegated to the female. Well, that is about to change. Wired has a great piece today about how we are scientifically very close to the point when there will be birth control that men can take. Seems only fair, right? Birth control for men seems a long overdue invention.
There are essentially two different forms of birth control for men being developed, and both work very differently from one another. There is JQ1 which sort of tricks the body into forgetting how to create sperm (sounds scary) and then there is H2-Gamendazole, which keeps sperm from reaching maturity. Both are basically sperm manipulators, but if they work, who can argue?
Just curious to see the list of side-effects when these ‘babies’ do hit the market.
