Blue Moon, Wild Blue Lager, and even Pabst Blue Ribbon got absolutely nothing on the Abashiri Blue.
The Japanese brewery has crafted an actual blue beer.
Using the water of melted icebergs (so that’s who’s behind it all) from the Sea Of Okhotsk off the coast of Japan, the brew is then mixed with blue seaweed and local flowers, giving it not only a light taste and freshness but those obvious hue-like qualities you see before you.
The beer also contains Chinese yam, so when poured slowly, the head resembles ice.
