A Kickstarter project is aiming to develop a pen that can scan any colored surface and replicate it in ink or on screen.
Both versions of the Scribble pen contain an RGB color scanner that can detect a color in two seconds or less. It will then store the details, with a capacity of up to 10,000 colors. The stylus version will work with tablets and computers and is Photoshop compatible. The ink version will come with six nib weights and will recreate the color with the appropriate mix of cyan, magenta, yellow, black and white inks. The resulting ink mix is both lightfast and waterproof.
