Netflix made a major deal with Marvel, and one of the shows springing forth from their agreement is a Daredevil series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Rosario Dawson (RENT, Sin City) will join the Daredevil cast as “a dedicated young woman whose quest to heal the wounds of Hell’s Kitchen brings blind attorney Matt Murdock unexpectedly crashing into her life.”

Charlie Cox of Boardwalk Empire has been cast as blind attorney-slash-blind superhero Daredevil, while Vincent D’Onofrio (Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Men in Black) will play “The Kingpin.”

Netflix will also create Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage,and miniseries The Defenders, however, Daredevil will premiere first with 13 episodes.
