The prequel will be called Better Call Saul and will star the character of lawyer Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).

The keyword here is PREQUEL, so there are still a few more weeks to find out what will ultimately happen to Saul.

The prequel will start with a one-hour episode conceived by Vince Gilligan and writer-producer Peter Gould and it will “focus on the evolution of the Goodman character before his involvement with Walter White.” Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Better Call Saul will most likely get a full series order.
