In what is not a joke, but started out as one, one squadron of the Air Force is now full of Brony pilots!
Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma is responsible for instilling in world-class pilots camaraderie, morale, and unity. 1st Lieutenant Tom Barger said during a presentation of potential patches for the squadron, “the presenter threw the (pink and purple) “My Little Pilot” patch design into the mix as a joke…[but] that patch made it all the way through the approval process.”
A few students in the class were not amused by the patch and no one in the squadron had admitted to actually being a Brony, but Barger says that while “the class never really wanted it in the first place, they thought it was so off the wall that it was hilarious.”
Well played, Vance AFB. Well played.
