It’s no secret that I love tokusatsu films. That’s the Japanese word for “men in rubber suits” (not really), but it is a defining genre amongst Japanese cinema. Godzilla, Ultraman, and the like have grown in popularity and production quality over the years, but the masters behind these films still keep to a core set of techniques when creating them. Sci-Fi Japan takes a look behind the scenes and at the guys behind the rubber suits.
