I know it’s not Saturday, but this is such a feat of biology I thought it was worth posting.

This is Venus. This is not a photoshopped picture. She’s what they call a “chimera”, which according to Wikipedia (all hail Wikipedia) means that she “is composed of two or more different populations of genetically distinct cells that originated from different zygotes involved in sexual reproduction.”

To me, she’s just a really unique and awesome looking cat. People still think it’s photoshopped/faked, but the owner of the cat has uploaded many more photos and vides on Facebook for all to see. She’s real, and she’s beautiful.

It’s funny, because she looks just like a mix of her housemates – which is why her mum got her in the first place. Look at em all cuddled up:
