Can’t always get away with wearing your favorite ‘Star Wars’ tee to the office?
Does your child’s school have a strict dress code?
Or are you simply just a geek for nature and science?
Whether you’re one, two, three, or all of the above, Genius Heads Clothes is right up your alley!
Started by Atlanta mom Emily Severtson-Oppelt after she lost her job in the nonprofit sector, Genius Heads makes quality clothing at reasonable prices (nothing over $20!) with an emphasis on both kids (mainly young girls) and flattering feminine styles. Much of the apparel also has a “science lesson” depicted on it, as various insects and flowers are “dissected” and labeled on each shirt to “help children internalize these objects which may help them recall this information when it comes up in school.”
10% of each purchase also gets donated to a children’s or family-support charity.
My personal favorite is this adorable bumper sticker — truer words were never printed!
