According to a recent study by the Pew Research Center 4 in 10 adults own a video game console in the US in 2015. If we take a closer look at this number and split it between genders, we can observe that 42% of women have a game console at home, while only 37% of men do.
Other statistics reveal that only 14% of adults (men or woman) own a portable gaming device, but I don’t think this number includes people who use their smartphones to play games, else that number would probably skyrocket.
Finally, 74% of men and 71% of woman own a regular computer.
