China’s Restaurant Robots (It has begun!) [Pics]

In Harbin, China, a new restaurant has opened and it is “manned” entirely by robots (18 in all).

From host to chef to waiter, every job is done by a robot (& conveyor belts).

The restaurant cost about $797,000 (U.S.) to build, as each robot costs around $32,000. Each robot works a 5-hour shift and then  must be charged for 2 hours before resuming work.

Believe it or not, the food is affordable, with most items costing around $7.

Oh, and I forgot to mention: THERE ARE ROBOTS THAT SERENADE YOU WHILE YOU EAT.

So, tell us: Would you eat there? Would you like a restaurant like that in *your*country or state?
